As a service to our members, we will post tryout information for clubs/teams that provide the information to the Region Office. Per our Tryout Guidelines, we will not post any Girls' Club tryouts that do not conform to our Tryout Guidelines (see the Tryout Guidelines for additional information on tryout dates and signing dates). All clubs and individuals should also refer to our Recruiting Statement for information on acceptable ways to promote your tryouts and the behavior that is expected from our participants.

NOTE: This list is is not an exclusive list of all tryouts. Only those clubs that have notified the Region of their tryout dates and that are meeting the Tryout Guidelines mentioned above are listed here. Additional tryout information may be listed on individual club websites. Contact clubs directly for ALL information on their tryouts.

• Raleigh Volleyball Club will be having the following tryouts: Saturdays, October 24 and 31 at Gold's Gym-Six Forks for ages 13U, 14U, and 15U (all levels). • Sports Academy Volleyball (Statesville area) announces second wave of tryouts for 12s, 13s, 14s and 15s on the following dates: 12 and under: Monday 11/9, 5:30-7:00 and Thursday 11/12. 5:30-7:00 Peak Fitness, Statesville; 14 and under: Monday 11/9, 5:30-7:00, Tuesday 11/10, 7:00-8:30, Thursday 11/12, 5:30-7:00 (Platinum Only); 13 and under: Tuesday 11/10, 5:30-7:00 and Wednesday 11/11, 5:30-7:00; 15 and under: Monday 11/9, 5:30-7:00 and Thursday 11/12 7:00-8:30. We are fielding multiple teams in each division and positions ARE available. Additional teams may be assigned based on tryout results. • Cape Fear VBC (Wilmington area) is hosting its Try-Outs on November 1st for 8-15 year olds. Try-Outs for 16-18’s will be held starting November 8th (schedule at http://www.capefearvolleyball.com/index_files/Page2161.html). Cape Fear offers a range of programs from our Dev/Pro for 8-12 year olds just beginning in the game, as well as our Regional program for current players from 11-18. Our National program is for the serious player who wants to continue at the next level. We offer a range of age levels as well as ability levels in our teams. • Carolina Storm Volleyball Club (Cabarrus and Surrounding Counties) will hold tryouts at Cox Mill Elementary School in Concord. All players 14 and under on November 2nd and 5th. • Tryouts for Yadkin Valley Volleyball Club will be held on Sunday, November 8 and November 15 from 2:00-5:00 for girls ages 12-18. The tryouts will be held at Forbush High School located at 1525 Falcon Rd East Bend, NC 27018. There will be a $20.00 non-refundable tryout fee. • Piedmont Juniors Volleyball Club (Greensboro) will be having the following tryouts: Tryouts for ages 16-18 November 9 & 11; Tryouts for ages 12-15 November 10 & 12. Registration for all tryouts: 6-7 p.m.; Tryouts time for all ages: 7-9 p.m. All tryouts will be held at the Greensboro SportsPlex. For more information see the Piedmont Volleyball Club website.
• Davie Dazzle Volleyball Club (Mocksville) will hold try-outs for 2009 – 2010 regional teams on Sunday, November 8th for 12U, 13U, and 14U, and on Sunday, November 15th for 15U, 16U, and 17U. All try-outs will be held in the Davie County High School main gym from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. A required parent’s meeting will be at 1:00 pm on both dates to take care of paperwork, and disburse needed information. Please bring the following to try-outs: a copy of birth certificate, and social security card (new members only), an up-to-date physical (good for one calendar year), water bottle, and a $20.00 non-refundable try-out fee. **Practice days will be on Sunday afternoon to accommodate athletes who also play winter and spring sports, with an optional day during the week. • WNC (Winning iN Christ) Volleyball Club (Hendersonville/Asheville), dedicated to growing and encouraging athletes in the knowledge of volleyball and their knowledge of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, will be holding tryouts for all age groups on Saturday Nov 14th and Saturday Nov 21st at T.C. Roberson High School: 9-11am for 13's & 14's, Noon-2pm for 15's & 16's, 3-5pm for 17's & 18's & 12's-and-Under. All boys, any age, will have a special tryout time of 5-6pm on Saturday Nov 21st.
