2011 Coaching Opportunities – ECJVC, Greenville NC

East Carolina Jr Volleyball Club is now accepting applications for both head and assistant coaches for the 2011 season. We are looking for individuals with a passion for the sport of volleyball and the desire to teach youth. Past playing and/or coaching experience is desired. Middle School Coach Needed

Voyager Academy Charter School in Durham is searching for a Head Volleyball Coach for this Fall. We start school on Monday 8/23 and I'd like to begin tryouts by the middle to end of this week. I know it is very last minute. There is alot of interest but no coach. Season starts Sep. 13 and goes through the last day of Oct. Most games are played on Tu./Thurs. beginning @ 4:00. 2011 Coaching Opportunities-Triangle VBC

Triangle is actively seeking interested candidates for head, assistant, and resource coaches for the 2011 season. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are committed to excellence and interested in both teaching and learning. Previous playing/coaching experience desired. Collegiate playing/coaching experience is a plus. Hired coaches will be trained extensively by Triangle. They must also pass a background screen, and become at a minimum IMPACT certified by USA Volleyball (both provided by Triangle). Fall camp and clinic coaching opportunities are also available to candidates considering head, assistant, and resource coaching positions for 2011. Job Openings - Carolina Courts, Indian Trails NC

Part-Time Volleyball Director
This position will be responsible for the recruitment and oversight of all volleyball instructors as well as the execution of all seasonal volleyball programs. He/She will work with the management team on budgeted number of participants and pricing of leagues and coordinate with front desk manager to ensure future programs are properly displayed and marketed. Must be willing to communicate with customer base, instructors, front desk manager, etc. Must be willing to answering e-mails and phone calls regarding volleyball programs. Will average around 20 hours a week, with ability to take on more hours if desired. $15-$18/hour. Skills/Qualifications: This position requires a high energy individual with a passion for quality instruction. Communication is a key responsibility. 4+ years of coaching/playing experience is desired. Part-Time Volleyball Instructors:
These positions are PT primarily focused on Monday and Wednesday evenings. These positions will have an average of approx. 6-10 hours per week depending on the number of programs you instruct. Job Opening-Assistant Coach

Salem College Assistant Volleyball Coach – Part-time coach to assist head coach in all aspects of a women’s collegiate volleyball program. Responsibilities will include on court coaching; recruiting; game and team management; and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Must be willing to drive student-athletes to away contests. Bachelor’s degree required and previous experience playing intercollegiate volleyball preferred. Juniors - June/July, 2011

 

We are currently accepting applications for boys and girls aged 14 - 18, who are accomplished volleyball players to represent the US on the 2011 Goodwill Ambassadors World Tour. 2011 marks the 31st year that the Goodwill Ambassadors have conducted world tours for junior volleyball players. There are three tours planned for 2011. The dates of the Tours are: June 17 - 30, 2011 (Rome/Florence/Venice, Italy tour); July 1-14, 2011 (Rome/Florence/Venice, Italy tour); and July 15-25, 2011 (London/Paris). Our tour is both a cultural and athletic enrichment program. We will play in International age group volleyball tournaments, as well as play local club team in each city.
