Redesigned Website Help Page

We have designed our website to allow our users to get to the information they want in as few clicks as possible. Our most frequently viewed pages can be reached from the home page directly. Secondary articles and information will be available on the section of the website that it references. Below are brief descriptions of the main sections of our new design. If you need additional help, please contact our Region Office.

TOP BANNER:

• Logo - the Region's logo is displayed on the left of the banner. Clicking on the logo will return the user to the home page.
• Organization name - the full name of our organization is Carolina Regional Volleyball Association
• Slideshow - a slide show will show on the right side of our banner. Currently, pictures of our 2007 Regional Champions, some Adult tournanment action, and some Boy's teams action are showing. We will update the pictures occassionally showing recent action. Regional Champions will be highlighted after each season's champions are determined.

BLUE MENU:

• This menu at the top below the banner allows site navigation to the major divisions and functions the Carolina Region in which we are involved:
• Home - clicking this will return the user to the main start page.
• Coaches - clicking this will advance the user to the Coaches Start page. There is also a submenu available to take the user to the Coaching clinic schedule.
• Adults - clicking this will advance the user to the Adult Start page. There is also a submenu available to take the user directly to current items that Adult users may need to get to quickly, such as schedules, clinics, or surveys.
• Juniors - clicking this will advance the user to the Junior Start page. There is also a submenu available to take the user directly to current items that users interested in Junior items may need to get to quickly, such as schedules, clinics, or surveys. The submenu also provides instant access to the High Performance and Parents Main sections.
• Officials - clicking this will advance the user to the Officials Start page. There is also a submenu available to take the user to the Officials clinic schedules.
• Board - clicking this will advance the user to the Board of Directors Start page. There is also a submenu available to take the user to the Board member directory, the board's meeting schedule, and past minutes of Board meetings.
• Tournament Directors - clicking this will advance the user to the Tournament Director Start page.
• The Blue menu will stay the same regardless of which page on the website the user is viewing.
• Hovering your cursor over a menu item will display additional information about the link or section.

RED MENU:

• The Red menu on the left will have items that is most relevant to the section of the website that the user is currently viewing. The Red menu will change depending on which section is being displayed. For example, the Red menu on the Junior section will display links to items most relevant to our Junior population. That menu will be different than what is displayed on our Officials section.
• Some items on the Red menu will link directly to a page, while others will have submenus pop out to display additional pages/items on our website.
• Hovering your cursor over a menu item will display additional information about the link or section.

USAV LOG IN:

• Click on this link to go directly to the page to log in to a member's USAV membership account. Members may log in to their account to renew their membership each season, update their contact information, and see other information about their Carolina Region/USAV membership. A member can log in to their account and print their own membership card.

ORGANIZATION INFORMATION:

• Immediately below the main content of the page are links to pages with the following content:
• About Us - brief history of the Carolina Region and USA Volleyball. Our mission is also on this page.
• Privacy Policy - the Carolina Region respects the privacy of our site users and members. Read our Privacy Policy at this page.
• Contact US - address, phone/fax, and email information for Region staff is provided at this page.

BOTTOM GRAPHICS:

• Paypal donation button - the Carolina Region accepts paypal payments. This button allows a quick link to make tax-deductible donations to the Carolina Region. Members' support helps the region continue to support volleyball across North Carolina!
• Volley Mall - this new program instituted by USA Volleyball allows members to support the Region and USA Volleyball whenever they shop online. Click on this link to be taken to the Volley Mall main page. Click a store to do your shopping and a pop-up will appear asking you to designate where you want your proceeds to benefit. Please select the "Carolina Region" and then shop as you normally would. The Carolina Region and USA Volleyball will get a small percentage back on your purchases (it does not increase your costs!). This is a great way to support the region while shopping at the online stores you would anyway. We thank you for your support!
• USA Volleyball logo - the Carolina Region is a proud member organization of USA Volleyball. We are one of 40 Regional Volleyball Associations partnering with USA Volleyball to support the sport from the National Teams to grassroots.
